Love the concept for Bardelia. This concept would be a hit in LA, where more people are abstaining from alcohol ("LA sober") in favor of non-alcoholic drinks. Every month we're seeing new NA brands with adaptogens, nootropics, or cannabis handed out at local events. There's a real opportunity to create a new kind of bar that combines social experiences with discovery of NA beverage brands.
Completely. The tough thing with LA specifically is the sprawl. It's not easy to be a 'destination' there. That and the high overhead. But I have seen a lot of bars and restaurants offering really good non-alc cocktails at bars finally. I think the supermarket is going to take over non-alc sales but they aren't always the best curators so there's still space for smaller shops.
